Challenge
The primary challenge was designing and developing an educational web platform that could present information about traditional Indonesian musical instruments in a clear, structured, and engaging way. The platform needed to balance cultural content with modern web design standards, while ensuring good usability and performance. Additionally, the project was developed within the constraints of a web design competition held by the Polytechnic Computer Club (PCC) Polines, requiring efficient development, clear information architecture, and strong visual consistency within a limited timeframe.
Solutions
To solve these challenges, the platform was built with a strong focus on information hierarchy, user experience, and responsive design. Cultural content was organized into structured sections to improve readability and navigation. Modern web design principles were applied to create a clean and intuitive interface, while ensuring the platform remained accessible across different devices. By prioritizing clarity, performance, and consistency, the platform successfully delivered an educational experience aligned with the cultural theme of the PCC Polines Web Design competition.
Outcomes & Impact
The project delivered a responsive educational web platform with a clear content hierarchy and optimized user experience. It improved technical proficiency in responsive layout implementation, UI consistency, and content-driven design, while showcasing the ability to develop culturally themed web applications within competitive and time-limited environments.
