JasMerah: Indonesian National Heroes Platform

JasMerah is an educational platform designed to introduce Indonesian national heroes and provide historical insights into Indonesia’s journey as a nation. The platform presents curated information about key historical events and the figures who played significant roles in shaping the country.

Built with the intention of raising awareness and respect for national heroes, JasMerah aims to encourage users—especially younger generations—to better understand the sacrifices made for the country’s independence and survival. Inspired by the quote from Bung Karno, “A great nation is one that honors the services of its heroes,” the platform serves as a digital medium for historical education and national reflection.

Challenges

The primary challenge was presenting historical and educational content in a way that remained engaging and accessible for users. Delivering large amounts of historical information without overwhelming users, while maintaining clarity and narrative flow, required careful content organization and design decisions.

Solutions

To address these challenges, the platform was designed with structured content sections that clearly separate national history and individual hero profiles. A clean and intuitive interface was implemented to improve readability and navigation, allowing users to explore historical information and hero stories in a focused and user-friendly way.

Outcomes

The project successfully delivered an educational web platform that organizes Indonesian historical content and national hero profiles into a clear and accessible digital format.
